Learn How to Make Your Own Bras - With Linda Sepeda of Violet's Valentines

If you can sew a sleeve into an armhole, you can make a bra….Linda Sepeda

It shouldn't hurt to wear a bra.
Nor should wearing a bra cause "divots" in the shoulder area or the rib cage.

Many women wear the wrong size bra, and doing that can hurt for a number of reasons.
It can also affect circulation and cause numbness. The shoulders and back can hurt. Wires could constrict or poke.

A properly sized bra can alleviate many of these conditions, and might even make you look younger and slimmer.

If you think you might be wearing the wrong size, have pain when you wear a bra or have trouble finding the right size when shopping, this is a great opportunity to learn how to make your very own bras.

Linda will be using the Beverly Johnson Pin-up Girls Classic style for this class. It can be made as pretty or as utilitarian as you like, however for this first class, the materials will be a uniform Beige color with standard trims and findings.

In this two-day workshop taking place on two Sundays in November (the 4th & the 11th), instructor Linda Sepeda will walk you through the process of sewing your own bra. Linda uses a Beverly Johnson Pin Up Girls Classic underwire bra pattern & each student will be measured for correct size.

In this class, you will receive:
- Sewing instruction & demonstrations for how to sew your bra
- Personal assistance from Linda with your individual bra
- All the materials you will need to make your bra - Pattern, Fabric, elastic, underwires, findings & more ($40 value) (There is usually enough fabric to make two bras but you will need to buy an extra set of findings if you want to make a second one)(all students will make a "Beige" color for this first bra)
